Brody Aufderheide

Co-Founder | Managing Director

Brody Aufderheide is the co-founder of Aces Goaltending Development and currently serves as the Associate Head Coach for the Eastern Washington University Hockey Club.

Brody’s coaching background spans private goalie development, youth hockey leadership, junior hockey, collegiate club hockey, and regional goalie development. He holds a USA Hockey Level 4 coaching certification, a USA Hockey Silver Level Goalie Coach certification, and has served as the USA Hockey Goaltending Development Coordinator for Eastern Washington since 2024. Before co-founding Aces, Brody coached goalies privately with ReadReact Hockey in Minnesota and later served in multiple leadership roles with the Spokane Jr. Chiefs as the Director of Goaltending and Assistant Hockey Director. He has also worked as the goaltending coach for the Spokane Braves Junior A Hockey Club.

Brody focuses on building structured training environments that help goalies develop technical skill, tactical game understanding, confidence, and long-term habits. His coaching philosophy is rooted in individualized development, clear communication, consistent feedback, and a holistic approach to each athlete. His goal is to help each goalie become more prepared, more capable, and more confident on and off the ice.

Chandler Forsyth

Co-Founder | Goaltending Director

Chandler Forsyth is the co-founder of Aces Goaltending Development and currently serves as the Goaltending Coach for the Eastern Washington University Hockey Club.

Before co-founding Aces, Chandler’s coaching background started with the Spokane Jr. Chiefs where he has served as assistant coach at the 12UAA, 14UAA, and 17UAA levels. He holds a USA Hockey Bronze Goaltending Coach certification and USA Hockey Level 4 coaching certification. He has also served as the Assistant Goaltending Director for the Spokane Jr. Chiefs organization.

His coaching philosophy is centered around long-term athlete development and helping goaltenders build a strong foundation at every stage of their hockey journey. From first-year youth goalies to junior and college-level athletes, training is designed to challenge goalies through realistic game scenarios that improve skating, puck tracking, play reading, recovery habits, and compete level while building confidence and understanding of the game. Each athlete is challenged through game-like situations, guided discovery, and individualized feedback that promotes growth both on and off the ice. His goal is to provide a supportive environment that encourages development, accountability, and a lasting passion for the position.
